PALS HeartCode

What does this course teach?

HeartCode® PALS is a self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program that uses eSimulation technology to allow students to assess and treat patients in virtual healthcare settings. There are a variety of additional videos as well as the PALS Provider Manual and the 2015 Handbook of Emergency Cardiovascular Care to enhance learning and facilitate successful completion of the patient cases.

Who should take this course?

The HeartCode PALS provides an alternative training solution for busy healthcare providers who need PALS for their clinical duties. This group of professionals includes physicians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, pharmacists and others as required by their employer.

Is there a hands-on session?

Yes. Hands-on skills testing is a requirement for completion of this course. This may be completed at Sanford Health EMS Education.  

How do I register?

Email or call 701-364-1750 to purchase the HeartCode PALS components. Current cost is $260, which includes the online portion, skills testing, and completion card.

What if I purchased the online portion on my own?
