PALS Precourse Requirements

1. Complete and pass the PALS Precourse Self-Assessment on the AHA Student Website

    • Go to  elearning.heart.org/course/1639
    • Sign in or Sign up for AHA eLearning Account
    • Launch the course
    • You are able to save and resume as needed
    • Print Completion Certificate and bring to class with you

2. Complete a BLS Course or be able to perform high-quality BLS according to the 2025 AHA Guidelines

3. Understand the PALS Algorithms in the PALS Provider Manual*
